Abstract: Based on the traditional Chinese medicine theories that "the spleen and stomach provide the material basis of the acquired constitution" and "clear yang ascending to upper orifices", this article explores the theoretical basis and clinical application of the qi-replenishing and yang-elevating therapy in the treatment of brain tumors. It is proposed that brain tumors are characterized by deficiency in the root and excess in the branch, and "spleen-stomach qi deficiency, failure of clear yang to ascend, and counterflow of turbid yin" serve as crucial inherent factors throughout the disease progression. By tracing relevant theories, this article analyzes the crucial role of spleen-stomach qi deficiency in the onset and progression of brain tumors. Combined with clinical practice, this article systematically elaborates on the specific application models of the qi-replenishing and yang-elevating therapy at various stages of brain tumor treatment. Clinical medical cases are adopted to verify the therapeutic efficacy of this therapy in the comprehensive treatment of brain tumors, aiming to provide theoretical reference and clinical ideas for integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment of brain tumors.
