Abstract: Objective: To analyze the research progress of Jin's triple-needle from January 1, 2014, to December 31,2024,summarize its clinical advantageous diseases, research hotspots, and cutting-edge trends, and provide references for future research in this field. Methods: Using bibliometric methods, relevant literature was retrieved from four databases: the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), Chinese Academic Journal Database (CAJD),China Science and Technology Journal Database (VIP),and China Biology Medicine disc (CBM). After applying strict inclusion and exclusion criteria, quantitative and visual analysis of publication trends, core authors/institutions, keyword clustering, and disease spectrum distribution was done using CiteSpace 6.4. R1 and Excel. Results: A total of 843 valid articles were included. The annual publication of Jin's triple-needle showed an overall upward trend, forming a research network centered on Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine with multiregional collaboration. Research hotspots focused on stroke sequelae, cerebral palsy, autism, sleep disorders, and musculoskeletal diseases. The therapy's advantageous diseases mainly included nervous system diseases (431 articles), mental-behavioral and neurodevelopmental disorders (134 articles), and musculoskeletal diseases (114 articles), accounting for 80.5% of the total. Research content deepened from clinical efficacy observation to neural mechanism exploration, with the mind-regulating treatment principle and inheritance of experience of famous physician having become recent focuses. Conclusion: Jin's triple-needle has developed into an acupuncture academic system with distinct theoretical characteristics, significant clinical efficacy, and a wide range of applications. The research trend is shifting from clinical efficacy summary to mechanism elucidation and disease spectrum expansion, demonstrating good prospects and academic value.
