Introduction to QU Fan's Experience in Differentiating and Treating Decreased Endometrial Receptivity in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Based on the Theory of "Yang Governs Qi-Transformation , Yin Governs Substance-Formation"
Abstract:This article introduces Professor QU Fan's clinical experience in differentiating and treating decreased endometrial receptivity in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) based on the theory of "yang governs qi-transformation, yin governs substance-formation. " Professor QU believes that the core pathogenesis of this condition involves root deficiency and branch excess, with spleen-kidney yang deficiency as the root, phlegm-stasis intermingling as the branch, and imbalance of yin and yang as the outcome. The treatment follows the general principle of "warming yang to transform qi for promoting function, resolving phlegm and dispelling stasis for regulating form." Using a self-formulated Bushen Tianjing Prescription as the foundation,stage-specific treatment is according to the syndrome and tailored to the menstrual cycle's yin-yang dynamics, achieving significant clinical efficacy.
